Aloha. I never do quick updates, but I wanted to post this semi-recent picture of the family...
And I wanted to say I got hired at Chipain's... I'll be your gracious, gray-collared t-shirt wearing friendly face (because I will be selling so much coke under the table). Also, I'll probably read more tabloids this summer than I've ever dreamed possible. By the way, I was totally late to my interview this morning by like a half hour because apparently I can't remember correct times for shit... but Alice at Chipain's didn't seem to mind.
Anyhoo, I'm going to Chicago to party it up with Kimmie tonight, and then I guess I'm sleeping over at her dorm. I've got this whole... gray fedora, black shirt, black pants, silvery tie thing happening. If I don't end up finding any super-hotties to hang with, at least I will be dressed for my rodeo audition later in the day. Whatever happens, I really hope to have a good time... though I'm so nervous about big public gatherings like this where I've got to be... I don't even know... get in with a bunch of people who already know each other. Kind of an awkward thing, but even if it all goes to hell, I'm sure it will be funny in retrospect. Same thing with Chipain's. Man, I hope I get enough money this summer to help pay for expenses next year in college. I'll be babysitting also this summer, so that'll help out too. Anyway, expect a giant-ass update upon my return. Summer is just about to begin... and as I launch into that, I think I'l be launching in to other new territory as well. How exciting and scary. All the best things start out as exciting and scary, I've noticed. So anyway, love you, love you, love you... I'll be in touch, and I'll be thinking of y'all.
