Madonna "Think of Me" |

Hi there, you. Something tells me we're in agreement that summer is getting a little bit lazier by the day and that July is the time where we're all bored and tired and sick of Ken Jennings and how he insists on winning Jeopardy! every damn day (and bored and tired in general). On top of that, it's not like there's a heck of a lot ever happening during this portion of the summer anyway. Don't let me be misunderstood, however, I definitely revel in the summertime freedom when I can get it...just at this point it's about all I have... so sometimes it's not easy to be able to love it unconditionally. Like if I have Chili's everyday, I probably will forget that I love it after awhile...you understand, I'm sure.
Really wish I could tell you there were huge things upon the horizon for me but so far it appears there is just air. However, I am abruptly updating the DJ because tomorrow I head out to Iowa for orientation. Kinga said Iowa's orientation was suicide-inducing at some points because of all the tedious and pointless meetings. We all know how well I handle anxiety. Look for me in the papers. I'm also signing up for classes as well, and I actually have done a little thinking about what I want to take. I want to take journalism, psychology, film, English and maybe acting. There are required courses somewhere in that mix too...and Kinga also informed me on our quick but pleasant trip to Starbucks that I must take science sometime in my Iowa career. She's planning on taking "The Age of Dinosaurs." I've decided I will major in Digging Through Sand And Finding T-Rex Bones At The Field Museum. I'll be minoring in Stegosaurus.
I also just went to Oberweis with Sarah and Kimmie just now and those damn strawberry shakes never get any less ultra-delicious. Neither do Sarah and Kimmie. Even if Kimmie mysteriously succeeded at sunburning her ass... I suppose that does take away from her deliciousness...seeing as she's now crispier. My brother and his friends are over, and they want me to play Spoons with them, so I may update this more later tonight. Until then, ciao, kids.
Love you,
Louis.
