Madonna "Your Honesty" |

Merry Christmas and Happy Jesus' Birth Goo to anyone reading this. Thus far on Christmas Eve I've opened my Secret Santa gift from my brother Greg, and now I am the owner of Remixed and Revisited by Madonna. It's actually kind of lame. Oh well, I will deal.
I look forward to opening presents tomorrow. There's really nothing I am ultra-anticipating, but I guess it'll be nice to open presents and get things like Dance Dance Revolution and Rear Window and more Madonna cds and...an easy-bake oven, I dunno, whatever. I think I miss the days where I'd get so many presents that were real SURPRISES and the days when I'd lose sleep thinking about all the rocking things I'd get. One year I couldn't wait to get a handheld Jeopardy game (I shit you not) and once I did get it...oh lord...it was like peace on earth and good will towards men...in handheld game form. I could've stopped the war in Iraq with how happy I was.
So I've got church today at 6 and that's basically the plan for the day. In other news, I'm seeing Liz Phair on March 12th at the Vic in Chicago. Good Lord, yes! Rachel's going with me, it should be an awesome time. Liz sometimes meets fans afterwards I hear, and I guess that means I'll have to meet her...AGAIN. You better believe I'll have my camera too. Woo.
Tomorrow I get to see Tiffany and my whole crew of relatives. Tiffany's been pretty antsy lately, she has these sudden spurts of "WE HAVE SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON" and I'll be honest, I'm a little scared. Ha, actually I'm sure I'll have a blast with her. My godmother's house will be so packed tomorrow, I'm frigging taller than everyone there. 6'1" = height of the century.
I went to Elyse's dad's house the other night and hung out with all amazing people. I had a milkshake on the way there in honor of the anthemic Kelis song... so at Elyse's dad's, there was a stunning cast of characters like Elyse, Monica, Sarah, Erin, Dave, Kaylin, and Katie. We played Spoons and ordered pizza and bruschetta and just rocked Mt. Greenwood to death, basically. Erin left for awhile and didn't come back for some time...we were all like "she's totally going at it with Dave! Gasp! It is so true!" but oh no, Erin's car ended up in a ditch on the snowy roads...talk about scary. She's alright though, she made it back okay. Speaking of the snow, me and Katie Erk and Elyse decided to frolic in the outdoor winter wonderland, and me and Elyse did the only thing we really know how to do...we danced in the snow singing "Material Girl". Welcome to our lives. We also all watched Almost Famous and hot damn that's a good movie. Kaylin drove me home at like midnight, and we had a really nice conversation. It was high-fiveable.
I am typing like such a tard right now. I swear I have to backspace like 90 times in one sentence. I don't doubt that this entry is typo-filled. Oh well, it is Christmas. Forgive me, bitches.
And I'm off. Again, Happy Christmastime and remember to love and let go of the things that are getting to you. Whip out the Charlie Brown Christmas tape, and fuh-gedda-bottit.
Louis.
