Okay, the first person who knows what song that is from gets a prize. Or just the satisfaction of getting it right first. Now that the sweepstakes has been announced, on to more important news.
Well, tomorrow I head out to my godmother's house to spend the night there, and then the next day we get up at 5 AM and drive up to Cumberland, Wisconsin. A typical vacation you ask? You see, I've been writing in this journal for about 4 months now about how I want to go to Cumberland, and now I get to go. To say the least: HOORAY . The trip will last just a day under two weeks, I'll be back July 9th. My cousin's house in Wisconsin does have a computer...but the internet is gone. These are unspeakable circumstances. This could mean this will be the last time I write in two weeks. This saddens me, as this is my forum for telling y'all about my life, and the thing is, going to Cumberland is one of my favorite things I ever get to do, and so not to be able to tell you about how my life is going at that time is upsetting. It would be one thing if I could just IM everyone and talk to them, but no internet means no internet. Damn. Well I might write journal entries by hand, and then just type them in here when i come back. Still, that's two weeks. Narf.
I was supposed to hang with JJ today and watch a Led Zeppelin DVD, but we both couldn't get our shit together so it didn't happen. I still have to pack, and my mom wants me to write down everything I bring so that I can make sure I have it all when I come back. I may bring all of my CDs, which is a risky decision by me, so I may have to break down my selections. That's really hard for me. I feel like if I bring one Joni Mitchell cd, I have to bring all of them. That's 11 CDs. I think I'll bring 25 or so of my favorites. Like you care. Shut up, don't make fun of me.
So I bid adieu to my compadres for a couple weeks, that means bye to Corey, Lizzo, Elyse, Erin, Ellen, Adam, Shannon, Robyn, Lauren, Scotto, Katie, JJ, J9, Rafa, Andy, Chris, Megan (such the pie), Heather, Mandy, Rachel, Tom, Monica, Sam, and many others that just aren't popping to ming at this second. Well, I'll see them again in two weeks.
