The war and economy are important too. But.
I meant to report sometime ago that I voted early. In fact, not only did I ballot-blast with punctual gusto, but I did so at the nation's premiere historical landmark, the Lemont Public Library. Oh, those hallowed halls. Of Amelia Bedelia books.

Look, I obviously voted for Obama. I obviously want him to redirect the war in Iraq, stabilize housing nonsense, and reinstill faith in the presidency. But most of all, I want him to win so that Lemont, IL, just sucks it. Long, bitch-like, and so fucking hard.

The other night the Obama sign on our lawn was ravaged by an angry (or hungry?) Lemonter in the night. I expected as much. I also expect Obama to win, which will make our decrepit sign twice as fiery. It's like how Bette Davis' rickety crawl into old age only bolstered her vulgar supremacy. Bottom line, in 2008, the mushroom-cloud odor of the LHS Injun-mascot shitshow evinces itself within these delirious retards. My neighbor's Obama sign has officially been destroyed twice now.

I already taste the succulence of all these morons sucking it. Lord-alive, the nectar. The NECTAR.

In other news, I interview Lady Gaga this week. She's easily my favorite ferocious bitch of the day. Minus, naturally, your gay dad.

Lovez. xo,
-L

Job Search Tools Used By Real Estate Outplacement Firms
(Anonymous)

There is no doubt the real estate job market is a nighmare. I feel it will be worse before it is better . I was fired and given outplacement for three months-this essentially means I get in office, phone and a career counselor who emails me jobs and the outplacement firm has work shops about networking, calling old people about potential jobs, etc. .

The outplacement counselors in this company are using a couple of tools which surprised me and I thought everyone would appreciate the advice. They find jobs essentially by using paid services that research real estate jobs and charge a monthly fee. They let us use the access codes and I got to say there are some powerful tools out there for locating jobs that the majority of people do not know about. The career counselors find jobs and email them to us through two services I am aware of so far: Hound and RealEstateAndLandCrossing. These two sites are completely different but both are very good.

There are more real estate jobs on RealEstateCrossing than there are on Hound -but the Hound site researches jobs only direct from employer webites while real estate jobs on RealEstateAndLandCrossing shows you jobs from other job boards, recruiters and so forth.

The biggest difference between using these sites and ordinary job search methods is that these sites research jobs-most other sites are typically just classified advertising boards that charge employers to advertise their jobs. It is a real difference and something to look forward to if you are luck enough not to be looking for a job and have not been laid off-but may be in the future. .
